Gideon Shoham, President, Chief Executive Officer and Founder
Gideon Shoham brings extensive management experience gained through a series of executive positions he has held during his 30 year career. Gideon was CIO/CFO at Koor Industries and Phils Industries for 15 years. Prior to founding Hitachi ID Systems, Gideon provided consulting services to BP Canada. Gideon holds a Masters degree in Business Administration.
Idan Shoham, Chief Technology Officer and Founder
In his role as Chief Technology Officer, Idan Shoham is responsible for defining product and technology strategy and the overall development of Hitachi ID Systems solutions. Idan works closely with his talented team to ensure that the solutions that Hitachi ID Systems delivers to the market are of the highest quality. Prior to founding Hitachi ID Systems in 1992, Idan provided network security consulting services to large organizations such as Shell, Amoco, BP Canada and Talisman Energy. Idan holds a Masters degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Alan Donenfeld, Vice President, Corporate Sales
Alan Donenfeld brings over 15 years of technology sales and management experience to his role at Hitachi ID Systems. Alan has been instrumental in guiding the sales strategies that have assisted in Hitachi ID Systems success acquiring Fortune 500 and global accounts. Alan has held various sales and management positions at technology companies such as Burnt Sand, Choreo, Software Kinetics and Multiprocessor Toolsmiths. Alan holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Systems Engineering.
Anna Lombardi, CHRP, Director, Human Resources
Ms. Anna Lombardi is responsible for the recruitment and retention of top talent at Hitachi ID Systems. She brings with her 15 years of HR experience in the aerospace and information systems sectors. Prior to joining Hitachi ID Systems, Anna worked in companies such as CAE Electronics, Future Electronics and most recently eVision, where she helped establish the IT consulting division of the company. Anna holds a Bachelor Degree in Psychology from Concordia University and obtained her Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation in 2009.
Dawn Mallyon, Vice President, Marketing and Communications
In her role as Vice President of Marketing and Communications, Dawn Mallyon is responsible for all marketing initiatives at Hitachi ID Systems, Inc.. Leveraging more than 15 years experience in marketing for technology companies, Dawn brings her strategic planning, tactical and management expertise to Hitachi. Dawn has previously held marketing management roles at SMART Technologies and Whitehill Technologies (now Skywire Software). In addition, she is very active in her professional association, IABC (International Association of Business Communicators), holding the title of Vice President, Marketing Communications on the IABC Atlantic executive board for several years. She holds a Bachelor degree in Public Relations from Mount Saint Vincent University.
Jason Maharaj, Vice President, Quality Assurance
Since joining Hitachi ID Systems in Mar 2006, Jason Maharaj has been responsible for managing the Software Testing efforts at Hitachi ID Systems. His responsibilities include driving and implementing industry standard practices and implementing process improvements as they relate to product testing and automation. He has over 8 years of professional software testing and release management experience in progressively responsible roles at Microsoft and Expedia.
Larry Kearl, CA, Vice President, Finance
Larry Kearl is a Chartered Accountant who brings to Hitachi ID Systems over 15 years of experience in financial management with emphasis on accounting, budgeting and forecasting, cash management, financial reporting and taxation. His experience stems from progressively responsible roles with KPMG, Manalta Coal, Gimbel Vision International, Advanced Measurements and most recently, Enquest Energy Services Corp.
Scott Lees, Vice President, Global Channels and Alliances
Scott possesses over 15 years of IT and Channel Sales experience. Prior to joining Hitachi ID, Lees served in a senior position responsible for strategic vendor alliances within the technology infrastructure solutions group at Avnet Technology Solutions. He was responsible for increasing sales revenue and developing key business relationships with storage, network security and virtualization vendors. Lees developed strategic plans which supported goals and objectives established by vendors, as well as positioned new channel programs and vendor offerings to Avnet's customers.
Scott Whiffin, Vice President, Solution Delivery
As VP of Solution Delivery, Scott Whiffin is responsible for managing the Professional Services project delivery team, both Project Managers and Solution Architects, in Amsterdam, Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver and Dallas. Scott works closely with the engineering and service departments on a daily basis to evolve Hitachi ID Systems' products to reflect customer and industry requirements. Along with HR Director and the VP of Support, Scott works to advance technical staff from the Support role to a position on the Professional Services team to maximize product knowledge and project efficiency of Solution Architects. Scott participates on the Change Control board and leads the Project Control Board to ensure successful resourcing for dynamic project requirements. Scott has a degree in Information Technology from SAIT Polytechnic, has over 20 years of IT industry experience and has been with Hitachi ID Systems since 2002.
Trevor Nicholson, Vice President, Technology Solution Sales
In his role as Vice President Technology Solution Sales, Trevor Nicholson is responsible for managing Hitachi ID Systems inside sales staff. Additionally, Trevor focuses on increasing sales volumes, managing existing customer and prospect relationships and facilitating the overall sales strategy. Trevor holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary. He has been with Hitachi ID Systems since 2000.
Zvjezdan Patz, Vice President, Technical Support
Zvjezdan Patz is responsible for managing Technical Support which spans Amsterdam, Montréal and Calgary and Training. In addition Zvjezdan is also responsible for promoting Technical Support people into the role of Technical Architects, recruiting new staff in close co-ordination with HR, participating on the Change Control Board and Project Control Board and ensuring that Hitachi ID Systems has the best product support in the industry. Zvjezdan has Bachelor's degrees in both History and English and has been with Hitachi ID Systems since 2003.
