M-Tech Announces Robust Product Integration with RSA Security's Two-Factor Authentication and Web Access Management Technology
RSA Security chose M-Tech as a strategic partner for user provisioning technology because of the breadth of the company's existing integrations, innovative technology and a low total cost of ownership.
Calgary, AB - February 13, 2006 - M-Tech Information Technology, Inc. a leading provider of identity management (IdM) solutions, today announced an integrated user provisioning, identity management, and access management solution with RSA Security.
The integrated solution incorporates RSA SecurID® two-factor authentication technology, including tokens and smart card form factors, and RSA ClearTrust® software for single sign-on and access control to web applications, and user provisioning workflow processes using M-Tech's user provisioning solution, ID-Synch.
"We continue to see an increased demand for integrated identity and access management solutions, including user provisioning technology combined with both strong authentication and web access control solutions," according to Stuart Cohen, director of partner development at RSA Security. "Our customers that look for integrated identity and access management technology can leverage the RSA Security and M-Tech partnership. We chose M-Tech as a strategic partner for user provisioning technology because of the breadth of their existing integrations, innovative technology and a low total cost of ownership."
The Hitachi ID Management Suite solution, which has already been deployed by several joint customers, has become more deeply integrated through additional technical interoperability certifications through the RSA Secured® program. These new certifications enable the Hitachi ID Management Suite to manage and provision RSA SecurID tokens, perform physical token inventory management, as well as manage RSA ClearTrust passwords and users, and more.
"M-Tech is pleased that RSA Security has chosen to expand our partnership. The integrated solution allows our customers to purchase from a broad range of identity management technology from either RSA Security or M-Tech and be confident that these solutions will be interoperable." says Jamey Miles, M-Tech's VP of Business Development. "We are excited to work together with RSA Security to expand our business."
