ID-Archive Given Four Star Rating by SC Magazine's Group Test of Password Management Tools.
Hitachi ID Systems reviewed and said to be ‘best choice’
Calgary, Canada -- November 12, 2008 -- Hitachi ID Systems, Inc., a leading provider of identity management solutions, is pleased to announce that it has earned four out of five stars for ID-Archive, Hitachi ID Systems's privileged password randomization tool in SC Magazine's group test of password management tools.
ID-Archive was reviewed as ‘easy to deploy’ and ranked very high in the ease of use, performance, support and documentation categories, and received an overall verdict of ‘Best Choice’.
ID-Archive enables organizations to secure privileged passwords:
- It periodically randomizes every privileged password, with support for more than 70 types of servers and workstations.
- IT users are forced to sign into ID-Archive when they need a sensitive password.
- The process creates strong, personal authentication, authorization over which passwords are visible to whom and an audit history of each access (AAA).
The review is found in the November issue of SC Magazine, and can be read online at;
