New release adds new connectors, updates existing ones, improves performance and adds capabilities.
May 2, 2013 - Calgary, Alberta, Canada - Hitachi ID Systems is pleased to announce the general availability of Connector Pack 2.3 (CP23) for the Hitachi ID Identity and Access Management Suite. This latest set of integrations can be used by Hitachi ID customers in conjunction with any of our products, with version numbers 6.2 or later.
New connectors in CP23 include integrations with ServiceNow -- to submit incidents and manage identities and passwords; a CSV file connector for easier integrations with computer inventory systems or applications with no user-management API; a “feedback” connector that allows Hitachi ID Identity Manager request forms and workflow approvals to manage membership in its own user classes and a new BMC FootPrints incident management connector.
Updates have been made to many connectors, including: more native 64-bit connectors; a new connector for JD Edwards that leverages its Java API; updates to the SAP connector to support Unicode identity attributes and newer versions of SAP; improvements to the Windows connector, to add IPv6 support and enhance discovery of subscriber/service account dependencies and service account new password notification; new capabilities in the the VMWare vSphere connector, to discover resources and assign temporary group memberships and much more.
New customers will receive CP23 by default. Existing customers can request a download from their account manager.
