HR and Recruitment Administrator

Position summary:

The incumbent will be responsible for HR administration and recruitment activities.

Responsibilities:

  • A post-secondary degree in a related field from an accredited university
  • Recruitment
  • Post and manage new job openings
  • Work with managers to gain understanding of business needs
  • Use LinkedIn Recruiter and other tools to identify and screen candidates in collaboration with the responsible managers
  • Ensure compliance with related corporate policies and regulatory requirements
  • Network/liaise with community partners
  • Manage other recruitment methods (e.g. employee referral program)
  • Schedule applicant testing
  • Schedule and attend interviews with hiring Manager
  • Conduct reference, export control compliance and security checks

Qualifications:

A successful candidate must have:

  • A post-secondary degree in a related field from an accredited university
  • 1-3 years of recruitment experience: sourcing candidates, interviewing, conducting reference checks, etc.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
