Definition of Pretty Good Privacy

Pretty Good Privacy is a program used for Encryption and Signature's in electronic mail messages, using Asymmetric Encryption, Public Key's and Private Key's.

This format is implemented using a stand-alone program, but integration tools are available for most popular electronic mail client programs. This software is functionally equivalent to the Privacy Enhanced Mail software and format.
