The Advanced Storage Development division of Sony Electronics develops firmware for mass storage devices, such as CDROMs, DDS and AIT tape drives, mini disc, etc.

  • NetScape Navigator.
• Internet client software - mail
  • Other mail clients.
• Network services provided to local users:
  • HTTP (World-Wide Web) server or cache.
• Software development tools:
  • C and/or C++
  • Perl
  • Bourne, Korn, C or another shell; using sed, awk, grep and similar tools.
