Develop and provide a community website for use by the public. Offer services such as chat/games and forums.

Profileheaven uses Linux for the following functions:

Backup services
- Tar.
HTTP servers
- Apache.
- Other.
Databases
- mySQL.
Internet client software - WWW
- Lynx.
Electronic mail server:
- POP-3 server.
- SMTP server (sendmail, others).
Network services provided to local users:
- HTTP (World-Wide Web) server or cache.
- ``Regular'' (user-ID and password required) ftp server.
- Accepts secure-shell (ssh) connections.
Software development tools:
- Java
- Bourne, Korn, C or another shell; using sed, awk, grep and similar tools.
- Others.
