LINUX-BIZ: WyattERP
WyattERP offers training and consulting in the creation
of custom ERP solutions using open source software,
principally wylib (an open source ERP tool based on TCl/TK
and developed by WyattERP) and Postgresql.
WyattERP is available as well to code an ERP solution.
WyattERP uses Linux for the following functions:
- X-Windows:
- X-Windows terminal (display, keyboard, mouse -- applications run elsewhere)
- X-Windows server (runs applications, possibly exports display)

- NFS server for other PCs and Unix systems.

- Print spooler using lpd (Unix, NFS clients)

- Fax server for outgoing fax transmissions.

- Office productivity software:
- Document preparation with WordPerfect.
- Document preparation with ApplixWare.
- Document preparation with Star Office.
- Graphics prepared with TGIF.
- Other document management.

- HTTP servers
- Databases
- Internet client software - WWW
- Internet client software - mail
- Mail.
- Netscape's mail client.
- Electronic mail server:
- Network services provided to local users:
- HTTP (World-Wide Web) server or cache.
- Network services provided to remote users over dial-up or the Internet:
- HTTP (World-Wide Web) server or cache.
