Technical Support Internship (Job ID 991-16)
Learn about identity and access management (IAM) systems and help Hitachi ID Systems to support customers in deploying and maintaining identity and entitlement lifecycle process automation using our software.
First, learn about IAM in general and Hitachi ID products in particular.
Next, work closely with experienced technical support staff to accept customer calls and help customers to resolve problems.
Time permitting, work on internal projects, including building demo systems and proofs of concept, recording product videos and publishing to YouTube and more.
3rd or 4th year student in a Computer Science or Software Engineering program.
Strong communication skills.
A desire to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative, highly technical environment.
You will gain skills including:
- Ability to configure and manage most of the following systems:
- Windows servers
- Unix/Linux systems
- IIS or Apache (including writing HTML, CSS)
- Active Directory or LDAP
- MSSQL, Oracle or MySQL (including writing SQL queries)
- Networks (IP routing, TCP filters)
Opportunity for full-time work, after the internship is complete and upon graduation.
