OS/400 (iSeries) system passwords can be managed by issuing commands, such as CHGUSRPRF, from the Hitachi ID Bravura Security Fabric server, via IBM iSeries Access for Windows, to the OS/400 server. Alternately, Hitachi ID Bravura Security Fabric can issue the same commands over a TN5250 session. No software is installed on the OS/400 server in either case.

Hitachi ID Bravura Security Fabric can also manage application-specific passwords on OS/400 servers, again using either IBM iSeries Access for Windows or a TN5250 session to access the appropriate panels and issue the relevant commands.

Hitachi ID Bravura Security Fabric connectors can create, delete, enable, disable and modify OS/400 accounts on any specified OS/400 server. It creates new OS/400 accounts by cloning existing ones, copying and adjusting native attributes in the process.

Native password changes made on iSeries (AS/400) systems can trigger transparent password synchronization, through insertion of a suitable exit program.
